Hoodies 4 Healing: About What We Do
The Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation is about honoring God by helping other people in need with giving back. The foundation shares blessings to others in abundance. Whether it’s selling merchandise, hoodies, and/or t-shirts for fundraising, or selling to give back through hot meals, free haircuts, and essentials for Houston’s homeless and those who are sick, it is Hoodies 4 Healing’s honor to give back to others in the name of God.
You can find us every Sunday serving hot meals and essentials to Houston’s homeless at 95 North Hamilton St., right across from the Star of Hope (1811 Ruiz St, Houston, TX 77002) in the adjacent parking lot from 8:30AM-10:30AM.
The Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation gives results, not excuses. We have served over 30,000 of Houston’s homeless and raise approximately 6-10k a month for the homeless and those in need. We strive to always look out for the children of God and to always be a blessing to them as long as our team is able.
Our team has not missed one Sunday serving since our first serving on November 8, 2020.
Rosemary Tucker
When God gives you a calling, you follow through.
CEO and Owner of Hoodies 4 Healing, Rosemary Tucker, has always been surrounded by God and faith. She has known all her life that her purpose on this earth is to serve God, his children, and to give back to the world. Tucker started the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation in 2019. Her daughter, Dyanna DeNae, became extremely ill and needed to have brain surgery. To raise funds for her daughter’s surgery, Tucker started the “I AM HEALED” collection in support of her daughter.
By emphasizing “I AM HEALED” Tucker and her family wanted to remind Dyanna of the positives of life. They wanted her to see something positive, instill that positivity into her head, and encourage her to not be scared, to not become weak, and to have the overall mindset of “I am healed”.

Tucker made a promise to God to always do something to praise him and to never forget his glory in saving her daughter. She vowed to God to help his children, the people of the world, in the way he helped save her daughter. Learn more about Rosemary Tucker by reading her biography.
Dyanna DeNae underwent brain surgery in 2019 after a life-threatening diagnosis was given.
By the grace of God, the people’s hope, and Tuckers drive and will, her daughter is now successfully in nursing school and living a beautiful life as a 22 year old young woman. The funds from all avenues support us in continuing to do what we do: help and give back to those in need. Sales and donations go to help the homeless by providing them with food, clothing, containers, plasticware, water, juices, and any essentials needed when providing for the homeless.
At Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation, we are about being a vessel of love. We just want to help as much as we possibly can. If helping and giving back means a hot meal and a free haircut, then that is what we will do. We are always looking for better ways to be a bigger and better blessing. Going Beyond Houston, Texas
Shortly after starting the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation, Rosemary found herself helping those beyond Houston, Texas. She was contacted by a mother, who had a sick child in Georgia and needed funds for his open heart surgery. Tucker and the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation volunteers worked tirelessly to sell merchandise to help raise funds for the little boy’s surgery. God knew this little boy was meant to go home with him. Three months post-surgery, the little boy passed. Hoodies 4 Healing continued to raise funds for his funeral and his mother.
Tucker expresses that she believes God put herself, her volunteers, and her children in a position to give back. She knows that God has given her a means, a business, finances, and all to be able to accomplish the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation to help others. She has a drive to help people heal. With her drive and hustle, she is called to help others, and she has pushed this into the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation. We are pushing to expand our foundation beyond the Houston, Texas area. We want to help people beyond only Sunday’s, regardless of where they reside, in the event of a natural disaster, and when a life-threatening illness occurs.

CEO and Owner, Rosemary Tucker, was born and raised in Cairol, Georgia. She comes from a family of 13 total siblings, is the youngest daughter of her siblings, and has 4 children herself. A large family and large home is no feat to Tucker, her mother alone had 97 grandchildren and great-grandchildren between all her siblings and herself.
She has deep family roots and values that have followed through her entire life. The same morals have flowed into the Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation.
In 1984, Tucker moved to the beautiful state of Texas after her father’s passing. She planned to head back to Georgia in 1995 when she traveled through Houston, Texas, to make her way back to Georgia. She immediately fell in love with Houston and found it to be her home. She loved the atmosphere of Houston. She saw the drive and spirituality of the people of Houston. From business entrepreneurs to glamor girls, she loved it all.
While raising her family, Tucker was a part of Lakewood Church, one of the largest church organizations in the world. She knew she had a calling on this earth to give back to the people. Called by God, she opened up her umbrella company, Blessties Clothing Apparel and truly made Houston her home.
About Blessties – Best Friends Who Are Blessed
Blessties Christian Apparel is the umbrella company and storefront where all merchandise is sold through, including Hoodies 4 Healing. The Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation is the ministry used to help the people by serving the homeless and raising funds for those in need.
In March of 2015, Blessties Christian Apparel was started as a storefront to sell Godly, motivational, and spiritual merchandise. Tucker has felt she has always been spiritual and she wanted to do something in the name of God to give back and praise his name.
Her calling was Blessties Christian Apparel.
When her daughter, Dyanna, fell sick in 2019, she believed that God called on her in 2015 to start Blessties Christian Apparel as a foundation to help her daughter in 2019, and to then grow to help the world moving forward. Since then, Tucker’s children have also opened their own sub-companies and collections under the Blessties Christian Apparel and Hoodies 4 Healing Foundation.
